Insulation Scheme

Launched in April 2004, this scheme helps homeowners secure funding to help with the cost of insulation work in their homes.
 
With so many different schemes and offers available today it’s hard to know which one will be the best for you. With this in mind, Peterborough Environment City Trust (PECT) can introduce you to two local insulation contractors who have set up an insulation service to help you get the best deal. The current prices (as of 12/05/06) are listed below).
 
PECT is an independent registered environmental charity and it aims to deliver initiatives to provide for a more sustainable future.

Free insulation could also be available to those receiving the following benefit payments.

· Working Tax Credit (with a disability element and household  income of less than £14,600).

· Child Tax Credit (with a household income of less than £14,600).

· Income support (which must include a disability element).

· Council Tax Benefit (which must include a disability element).

· Housing Benefit (which must include a disability element).

· Income Based Jobseekers Allowance.
